Good morning. It's sunny and I think today's high is about 80. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon...so I get to hear the nurse go "you've gained a gazillion more pounds!" Rylan woke up a bit earlier than normal, which means he'll be ready for a nap soon. Good...I need a nap soon too. I'm unbelievably tired today.

MK, I've watched 16 & Pregnant a few times. Not too many times since it makes me so mad. DD is 14 and I can't even imagine her being pregnant in 2 years. She's watched the show a few times too and she commented that that she would never want to have a baby that young. Of course, she thinks child birth is gross too.

Don't watch Glee but everyone raves about it.
I still think childbirth is gross. :rotfl2: Just the title of the show tells me not to watch. I have to keep my blood pressure down.

It's going to be around 80 today. Had some clouds but all the rain was on the other side of the mountains.

Only 2 more days...

Afternoon everyone!!!!

Having a flashback afternoon, darling fiance and I are watching Soul Train and man I tell ya those dances they were doing are something else. However, I gotta say, one guy did a seriously awesome robot.

You know, there are some jerky people out there. I read the Survivor thread everyday. I like to hear other opinions about the show and who they like, etc. For the past 2 days, someone has been spamming the thread with a list of the final 3. And when it got removed, they started sending out pm's to the posters on that thread. I mean, you really have nothing better to do than to try and ruin some people's fun?

It was cold and rainy here today. This damp weather just seems to give me a chill I can't get rid of.

Soul Train ~ OMG that brought back a flashback. Does anyone remember the name of the dance show that was on primetime with the guy who taught Travolta to dance for SNF?? They would have on three or four couples and crowned a champ each week.

Saw the surgeon today, she wanted to do my surgery in two weeks but because we have this trip planned in May we decided to wait until I get back...just in case there are any complications. So looks like it will be sometime in June. In the meantime I'm to watch my fat intake...like I don't do that already.

Ev, if you would have been able to have your surgery in 2 weeks, how long would that have been since you were diagnosed?

That show sounds familiar but I'm drawing a blank on the name.

Hey everyone! Not much going on tonight, just watching Idol. I was reading back about all the 80's fads. Those were the days lol. Of course maybe I think it was the days because I was just a kid/teenager lol. :rotfl:

Wendy have to agree with you on that one.

Pepper ~ Yup still watching Idol...almost PMed you because Kate was desperate to vote for her fav Casey and wanted to know who she could call in the U.S. to vote for her.
.

I'll vote for you guys. Just let me know who to vote for. :goodvibes

My SIL had her twins today!!! 2 little girls. 5lbs 5oz and 5lbs 1oz. I so want to see pictures of them but her husband doesn't know how post pictures on facebook.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I'm here...I didn't have a Feb baby...or a jan, march, april....etc!

I'm horrified at 16 and pregnant. There's a second season of it! No one learned! Its fascinating train-wreck tv though. These poor girls. There was one girl who got pregnant on the rebound. With twins. Decent enough guy, but when she went back to school, she decided she had feelings for the ex-boyfriend...which upset baby-daddy. So he left her too! Ex-boyfriend stayed ex. So there she is, with two babies, little help an having a hard time getting her diploma.

These baby-daddies are terrible! All cocky and mean, irresponsible and disrespectful. BF won't watch with me. Gets tired of me yelling at the tv!

Did you see it last night? The dude left the girl for another girl. Wow, nice guy huh?

Hi Pepper!! Hi JOCA!!

Now I feel like I should start a pre-TR for Aug.

What do you ya thing JOCA??? Are you feeling as

as I am ???

Yep, Pikes TR totally rocked!! made me want to go. :goodvibes

Hello everyone!
special Hi to Pepperw23! Nice to hear from you again. :goodvibes

Don't have much to the pregnancy discussion. After 3 months morning sickness no other problems. Of course I never had a 2nd either. ;)

Weather has been wonderful. :cool2:

After MagiKitty mentioned a problem finding her bank book I decided to clear my desk. :rolleyes1 :goodvibes

And a special hi to you too! :)

OMG 80s attire at Hershey. That would be fun!!!!

Hot Sticks are these things:

What about a hair crimper? SO stylish!

OMG Hot sitcks forgot all about them! ha ha

Ah, the 80s were so good to my naturally large, poofy, curly hair. I'm waiting for that fad to come back. Right now my hair is straightened but it won't last much longer. I had that great cascade of bangs in the front, crunchy curly in the back....

We had some interesting hair back in the 80's for sure.

My hair is straight, but I would love to have curly hair.

I don't understand the purpose of people that troll threads. Sometimes you have to wonder if it is just a bunch of kids having fun.

The day here was sunny, but now it is cold and drizzley. What happened to last week.

Ev, if you would have been able to have your surgery in 2 weeks, how long would that have been since you were diagnosed?

That show sounds familiar but I'm drawing a blank on the name.

From original app't at my GP to surgery would have been 5 weeks...not to bad at all considering I'm not having constant pain or anything.
I want to say "Dance Fever" for the show????

Pepper ~ If you get a chance...Kate would love you forever if you vote for Casey for her!

Good evening ladies!

I had my doctor's appointment today and have my last regular one next week. Unless she decides to arrive earlier on her own, it looks like I'll be induced on April 26th! I'd prefer not to be induced again, but we had to schedule this one so someone could watch Rylan.

Ev, that doesn't sound too bad to me. If you had been in more pain, would they have tried to get you in sooner?

Hey pepper!

I don't understand why anyone would want to do that either. Who ever it is has way too much time on their hands.

DD14 told me that denim shirts are coming back in style. I know I have a few of those laying around. :rotfl:

I sure will. :goodvibes,

Yup if I was having attacks regularly they would have done it right away.

Denim shirts...oooh I have a couple of those buried somewhere in my closet.

Well, Kate is safe for another week on DWTS. I think people must be voting for her just to see her so miserable.

Ev, that make sense to me that they would take you sooner.

BK,

Tell Kate that her vote is in (I tried to do it twice, but circuits are busy) :goodvibes

Evening ladies....my internet is still wonky. Obviously, I still have it, but its intermittent and when I can connect, its ridiculously slow. I've been calling Verizon and they say they're on it. I take solace that they say its on their end, not mine. But its driving me crazy! I will say that their cusomter service reps are some of the best I've dealt with in a long time.

I do think it was dance fever...it was on Saturday afternoons here. I do wish I was older during the disco era. I would have loved to go out and shake, shake, shake my booty. I was in college in the early 90s---the dreaded era of grunge. Just a lot of shuffling and headbanging. Ugh. I even wore Doc Martens! I am SOOOO glad that fad is over!

I'm watching Lost and taping Glee. Too much stimulation!

I forgot to add that this is BF's worst day of the month...the day when my Cosmo magazine comes in the mail! You'd think a guy would love trashy magazine day! But I read articles and ask questions, get paranoid or cranky and guess who gets the end of it!

I better post this before I lose my connection again....

MK, I was wondering what happened to you. I think I would go crazy if the internet wasn't working right here.

Oh, Mere, you're a Gleek too? I'll be watching in 7 minutes. I'm so crushing on Mr. Shu!

JOCA...it has not been easy. I'm kinda embarrassed how much I need the internet!

BK,

Tell Kate that her vote is in (I tried to do it twice, but circuits are busy) :goodvibes

Thanks so much...she's not happy with me because I made her go to bed at 9 and she missed him performing, so hopefully you voting will make up for me being the 'worse mom ever'!!

MK ~ you right the 90s would have been very boring fashion wise. I was at Uni in the early 80s > preppy and flashdance...lots of leg warmers and of course big hair...mine was short but I always had the dread perm thing happening.

I hear everyone talking about Glee. Even DH came home from work today and asked about it.

What is it about?
