I agree---gotta love the bumping and sliding but flipping is just too scarey. I will never forget Sr's accident. It just didn't look that bad...what a shock to hear he died.

I bookmark here too. It used to come up to the page bookmarked and the newer posts would be here too. Now the page comes up the way it was when bookmarked. I have to refresh the page to see the new posts.

I will never forget Sr's accident either. It was just so unbelievable. We weren't home for the announcement and remember calling my brother an ***hole for telling me such a stupid story. Once in a while, I'll pull up the video of DW right after the race and still have tears in my eyes.

I don't bookmark anything but the main pages of what I'm looking for. I've gotten quite good at finding what I'm looking for.

Good morning ladies! The weather has finally given out. While it is relatively warm at nearly 50, the sun is taking a hiatus. Its kinda gloomy and cloudy, which may be better considering all the nice weather has me enjoying rather than doing...

I don't follow racing but do remember when Sr. died. How terribly tragic. I saw some of the debate about bumping after this weekend's incident. It would seem that intentional bumping have tragic events more often than desired. Its not like in basketball when you're pushing someone...I mean, you're using an extremely large vehicle moving at incredible speeds to bump another large vehicle while being surrounded by more large vehicles! And I saw some footage of a girl who got hurt by some flying debris. Really scary!

Did you read the closed threads Kitty? They were talking about them on fb. One was complaints about Mousekeeping and the other was mad because dcl didn't keep the cruise a surprise from her. They are certainly entertaining!

I tried to read the fridge one. Really, I just don't understand it. I mean, I get the idea of trying to have a "perfect" vacation...but come on now. Are you really going to use that much time and energy about something so trivial? Ok, so maybe its a bit inconvenient, but at some point, you just have to be its done! Let's go have fun!

Oh, DL55..you do not know how hard it is to walk away...but I keep thinking about putting that little bit into my account and letting it work some interest. Besides, I get free play every week, so I'm pretty good about saving it for next time!

My local racino is so funny. They give away some strange freebies. Next week is a waffle maker! But I go in and get them, you never know when you'll need an emergency gift! And next week I have a free lunch too...yum. Yesterday they gave out free $5 scratch off tickets. I didn't win anything, but its fun to scratch!

Hi All,

Having a really tough day today.
Last night, Disney had another seizure and couldn't move much afterwards. Usually she recovers quite quickly and is begging for food the next min. We let her sleep and this morning she hadn't moved from her bed - even to go outside. Her breathing was labored and we just knew today was the day we have been dreading for months.

Took the day off and went to the vet after taking kids to school. It was so hard. The hardest thing we've ever had to do. This was our fur baby. She was there to offer comfort through all of our infertility issues and other problems. Always there wagging her tail and laying at your feet.

The house feels so empty w/o her. The next few days, weeks are going to be so hard.

To top it off, its been raining all day, 50s and foggy. Its like heaven is crying.

Poor Disney...I'm so sorry...I know she was well loved and will be greatly missed. I know you all have some wonderful memories of her and there will be an empty spot in your hearts.

Oh my goodness D&D! I am so so sorry...please accept my hugs. It is a really difficullt time but know that you loved her so much you only wanted the best for her. I had to do the same thing a few years ago and it still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it. Heaven is crying with you. I am too. I hope that it hurts a little less every day.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I really appreciate it. Its been a tough night.

There are days when I just know there's a God. Today is one of them.
As we were sitting down to dinner, DH looks outside and there is this FANTASTIC sunset behind a bunch of billowing clouds. The only break in the clouds we've had all day. All you can see are the beautiful rays of the sun streaming upward. It looked like God. The kids were the ones to mention it when they saw it. DS11 stared at the sky and said "Mom, I know Disney is home with God now."
I nearly lost it in the beauty of the moment and his insightfulness. Wow!

D&D...I was coming here to tell everyone about a movie I watched today when I saw your post. Its terribly ill-timed, but maybe one day you'll watch it. Its called Hachi A Dog's Story. It has Richard Gere in it. Its about a dog's devotion to his master. Its a true story and rated G! I was bawling the last 30 minutes of it. What a beautiful movie.

On a stranger note, I was whistling tonight and I noticed my little cat Jingle running around like a mad woman. Then I realized she was looking for the whistling. I was reading a magazine when the cat ambushed me! Went all Rambo and jumped the publication and pawed my face! Nevertheless, we were both terrified...my screams called my fatty cat who came to my rescue. Now Jingle and I are afraid of each other.

D&D, strange how God sends us signs at the least expected time. Makes me all tingly just thinking about it. Tell DS11 that he's got it exactly right. And give the boys a hug from me.

MK, I'll have to rent that movie for DD14. Was it similar in concept to Marley and Me? Not too many movies make me cry but that one did.

I didn't watch Marley and Me. I just don't like Jennifer Aniston. But the Netflix reviews mentioned it was on par with Old Yeller and Marley...so I imagine you would like it and have the same reaction. Seriously a tissue box movie. its simple, but really, its just about love and devotion.

Jingle and I are tip-toeing around each other...but we'll be friends shortly. I'm not sure who has a shorter memory span, me or her.

I'll hug all my babies tonight. They really do enrich our lives in so many ways.
