Afternoon ladies! I am now a proud owner for a lawn mower. I took D's advice and went big...I got the second best mower, the one that fit my budget. I used my gambling spoils this week for it. It was so busy this morning! I went to Lowes, Home Depot and Sears to check out the different kinds. I bought it at Home Depot coz the lady there was really helpful in telling me the differences. But when it came time to pay, no one was around to help me load the car! I eventually found a guy, but he was less than helpful. He tore the box apart to load it...and I asked him, what if I need to return it and the box is so messed up? He didn't really know what to say and told me to get the other side and lift. Now, I'm a big girl and all, but you'd think they'd have another guy to help lift it into the back of the Kittymobile.

Luckily, it was mostly assembled and seems to be running well so far.

JO, feel better! Lots of citrus!

D...I'm sorry the family is acting like that. Good luck with graduation and hope you have a lovely evening anyway....we love your boys so much!

I don't even want to think about my missing kitty at the airport (but then again, I don't have the best record). I always used twist ties on my carrier, just in case the locks get loose somehow.

I saw that about the Shrek glasses. I can't give them up! They're so cute. I guess I just won't drink out of them anymore. I was using my Puss in Boots one, but it'll just be a souvenir for now....

JO~ Do you happen to have control of the remote? If so, could you check on HGTV. I can't seem to get anything on that channel. I didn't know if it was just our server. It's really about the only channel I watch.

The heat wave has started. It's in the 100s and looks like it will be for a few more days. No wonder our "beach" has no water. June is always our hottest month.

Not a lot to talk about tonight. We went and did the Franklin Flea market to sell the beautiful birdhouses, cubbards etc..that DH did. Only 4 vendors showed up to sell things and there was no traffic through there. DD did sell one of her lower pots she made but overall I think we ended up with 7.00. Oh well, we had some nice family time with my Mom.

Tomorrow morning I leave for Atlantic City. I will be home Wed, so I probably won't be online until I get back.

MK- I will take your advice for sure...love the machine (QUITE D&D.!! )

Hee hee....You have to watch how you phrase it here. If not me Pike would've said it. I blame my humor on all those Bugs Bunny cartoons and Jim Henson Muppets.
