Sitting 7th right now but I'm only 10 behind JO...so I can't be doing too bad!

Now I know who you are! I'm in 9th place. I am higher on my other team but there are only 10 people!


Kitty---remember winning isn't everything! I just have fun. I blow it by picking those I like. soon I will have used those up and I don'r know what I'll do. You can only pick them 9 times in the other league. Here on the DIS it doesn't matter how many times you pick someone.

We are around 77 the next several days. I like that.

Good evening ladies! I hope everyone had a wonderful day and enjoyed this gorgeous weather.

Ok, I may have gone over the coupon deep end. Apparently, May is Pet month. Last week, after grocery, I received those print out coupons. I received 5 $5 coupons for the Purina brand. Cat food is on sale this week and I stocked up! I got 48 cans of cat food for $2.84. And then upon check out, I got 4 more coupons! I am in cat food heaven right now. Thank goodness my town recycles cat cans!

I also received my pre-order of the new Rick Riordan book. He wrote the Percy Jackson series. Its the first book of a new series and get this! Its about Egytian gods! Woo-hoo! I'm very excited to start it. And I have to...because next week the new Sookie Stackhouse novel comes out!

Its like Christmas at my house!

Yeah, I'm really excited to start it later. I was able to see the travelling exhibit on King Tut a few years ago and it just blew my mind. I'm not really that proficient in Egyptology, so this is going to be fun.

yeah isaw the king tut exhibit when it was here at teh childrens museum, i took my little cousin..

well i.... uh... um... well to tell the truth i have no clue how i got into it, its been so long, since i was a little kid.. but everytime there is a show on anicnet egypt i have to tape it so i can watch it again and again... i love the recents ones on the new tombs in V.K (valley of the kings)

I loved the Tut exhibit but I hated how expensive it was. I know its about security and all that, but something that wonderful should be seen by all. In general, museums are so expensive, even with their "suggested" donation. It creates this chasm between the public and appreciation for such wonderful things.

Its why I love the Smithsonian so much. Its what museums should be--free and open to the public! now, if they only had better parking....

jenn...if you can drive to Orlando, you can totally make a trip to DC! If you love museums, you should go...and take your time. I love the American museum the best. And the National Gallery. and the Hope Diamond at the Natural History! The National Geographic museum, the Newseum, and the Spy museum are great too--but you have to pay for those.

yeah...the crazy part is that CBC has been showing it at 8pm!! Sis has the seasons on DVD so I'll have to borrow them sometime.
