Well, BF and I had it out, as much as we could. Yeah, I cried again, but more out of frustration. I really tried to explain it as best I could, and I think he understood me and my issue now. He's just too literal...he's stuck on what I got upset about (car insurance) versus the fact that I got upset and he should be caring about it. He did apologize and I've accepted it. We'll be ok.

In apology, he's taking me to both the Barbie exhibit and the dinosaur exhibit in Kansas. I can't convince him to take me to go hug buffalo. I love them. I'm looking forward to talking to them again at Zoo America. They're just so cute.

Oh crap. I have to start packing?! I need stuff for us in the hotel (blender, antacids....) and small carry-on type things for the flight. So much to do!

Its supposed to be gorgeous outside today. I'm heading to the Farmers Stand later to score some fruit.

Thanks for being there for me everyone! Hugs to my best girls!

What a beautiful day it is here in NH! I was worried that the smoke from the fires in Canada would be back again today due to a wind change but so far so good.

Just got back from my walk and so happy that I decided to wear a baseball cap. Kept the hot sun off my face and out of my eyes.

Magi: So glad that you and BF made up.

Kitty---Glad he could see some of his faults! He's doing a good job of making up! Keep working on the buffalo. Think we'll make you sick? A discussion came up about bedtime after the picnic...what is your opinion?

aw...M--there's no such thing as bedtime on vacation! I plan to sleep on the plane to Kansas. I'm packing antacids coz someone's going to need it after a picnic and park food. Why? We going out? Hitting the slots? The club?

Pike I read a little blurb about the Canadian fires. Glad you're nit affected. And what a wonderful day for a walk! Good for you on the hat...I'm a big hat wearer--literally. If I could wear a hat as big as a table and not knock people over with it, I would. Its the only plus with having a big head.

I know but he's green like the grasshoppers we have around here. The crickets are dark brown.

Yes, I would like to hug a real buffalo. I know they're stinky, but they're so cool. Big walking carpets, kinda like Chewbacca. They just look like they'd be good friends. There's a buffalo ranch in Kansas that I want to go to. They take you out on the prairie (????) and let you see them roam. I'd like to do my best Kevin Costner and run with them.

I just got back from the racino. I played my free play this week. I walked out with $400! Goes right into the vacation fund...tomorrow is free grill (faux Foreman) that I'll pick up and give to my nephew for college....

I'm sure you'd look adorable in a prairie skirt. I couldn't pull one off. I'm too short and it would probably make me look shorter.
