TKers...8 is NOT enough!

LITC, depending on if their parents would allow it, a Nerf Dart Tag set could be fun. They could each get one and play with their friends since they come in a 2-player set. Or if they like sports, maybe a flag football set. Or hand held electronic games. If they don't have one, the Razor type scooters are not too much anymore.

I hope everyone feels better by Christmas. I remember my mom would always be sick for Christmas.
I'm still on a cleaning kick. Cleaned my refrigerator. We have even picked up some of our clutter. Not all but some, enough so that I don't feel like a hoarder.
We are supposed to have a high of 71 today. Doesn't look like we are going to have much of a winter here this year. :confused3

Wow Kathy...if you just want some cold, come back here! I would love a 71 day. I've still got piles but my tv in the middle of the kitchen floor is gone! That seems strange.

:banana:Walter likes me better than Santa! That's the kind of story I need to perk me up! Thanks...:lovestruc

I'm going to WalMart...not sure which one. They are all at least 30 min away.

I was trying to get you all jealous. Right now it's 66. Mild winters are one of the few selling points for this area.

Good evening ladies! Hope you are all well.

I too watched the eclipse....the next day on tv! It did look really cool though.

LITC---my bad, I meant Vickie was two weeks old, not two months. Sometimes my fingers get away from me.

I have the touchpad on my netbook and I'm pretty good at it, but I do use a wireless mouse somedays, especially for gaming.

JO--what a creative Christmas idea for Curtis! Good for you. I'm sad that he's leaving your home, even more sad that he doesn't appreciate everything that your familoy does for him. I do hope he turns a corner rather soon and gets his life back in gear.

Wendy--that Rubik's cube is insane! DS is a genius and has the patience of a saint to learn to get that good.

Well, I return victorious from Atlantic City! We arrived yesterday afternoon (Wendy, did you see me waving at you as I drove by?) and went straight for the outlets. God bless him, my cousin is a shopper! And it was nice to have someone to carry my bags (I really need to get myself a manservant).

Caesars was awesome! We were upgraded to the Centurion tower--39th floor! We pretty much dumped Mom in the room and went gambling. Between Sex and the City and the Village People, I return home $350 richer! I even made a friend. This lady was like, "that machine loves you!", and I told her I was done. She took my place, but later when I saw her again she said I had taken all the money from that machine. I also drank a few midori sours and danced around....

I was playing the Lord of the Rings game and some bonus happened.....the scary little man-thing (MY PRECIOUS) came on the screen and scared the patootie out of me! I almost started crying I was so startled. I cashed out and got the heck out of there!

Glad you enjoyed the eclipse...a lot warmer your way. I did not see it on tv! Sorry about that mean machine. I do not know how that works but glad you left that mean machine. You also know when to fold them...I was afraid you were going to say the woman said she hit it big time. I'm glad you came home in the black but not enough for our trip. ;) Maybe next time...

M...I tried my best. I guess I'll just have to keep trying until I hit it big!

MK, how'd I know you'd win at least some money?

It's so freakin cold in my house. I don't want to turn up the heat because I seem to be the only one who is cold. I'm thinking if I drink enough rum, I'll get nice and toasty. Or is that toasted? :rotfl:

You did good Kitty. There's always next time.

You are always cold JO. I have my heat down. I am afraid to turn it up...I guess I could write a note and put it on my door so I remember to turn it down tomorrow when I go to mom's. They just put $560 of oil in so I guess I could use it. It seems to be coming on a lot anyway.

I have to take the trash out....and I do not want to...have to get the hot chocolate ready.

My head has a lump where I knocked it against Pat's side mirror. That's what I get for wiping him off. He was turning gray. I did not get the tar off but he does look better.

I started reading the New Year's resolution thread to get ideas. How about this one? Drink more alcohol and gain weight. No sense in setting unachievable goals

oh, M, sorry you hurt your noggin!

Its in the teens tonight so no matter what I do the heat will turn on here. Cousin is freezing, but he's learning to love the throw blanket and socks!

I swear I didn't write that. :lmao: But that is a good one.

The thing about colc vs hot. You can keep throwing things on but there's only so much you can take off.

I agree. As much as I hate cold, when you're hot, all you can do is get naked and drink.

Maybe we should start a thread about those goals we never reached. Or one for how long did you keep your resolution. Make a poll---less than 24 hrs, less than 3 days, less than 4 days--you get the idea!

It takes me longer to come up with a resolution than to break it.

As soon as I got done typing it?

Kitty, I saw you waving! Did you see me waving back?

Gee, if you're looking for winter, please feel free to visit me here in NJ. And while you're here, you can clean MY fridge!!

Um, Jo, I believe it would be toasted...

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: I don't do the first, but I'm a PRO at the second!

You feeling better, Wendy? Has the ABs finally kicked in?

I agree. As much as I hate cold, when you're hot, all you can do is get naked and drink.
