Good morning ladies! Sorry I missed you last night, pepper and LITC. Too busy playing with the Nativity scene.

Another dull and rainy day here. Had to order heating oil too. Ugh.

My friend from Samoa will be here next month for a week and I think we're going to Atlantic city overnight. Just checked my Harrah's account (we went there in Kansas) and looks like I can get a comp'd room too. Hurrah for Harrahs! Will be good to hang out, go to the outlets, and of course, try our luck. Just waiting on her schedule.

Have to drive up to Binghamton tomorrow to meet my sister. She bought a new car and is returning the one we loaned her over the summer. So we'll do the switch then. With the way the weather has been, who knows if we'll see each other this winter? She'll try to come down when my visiting cousin is here, but its the holidays, so who knows....

This waiting to hear about the Moms panel is going to be the death of me. I keep dreaming about it and worrying that my submission was made too hastily. People are talking about how it took them HOURS to get their 60 second video right. I just put mine together and hit send. So now I'm mad at myself for not putting in more effort. But its too late now. Its up to the Disney gods to choose me.

It's been raining here in NH all day long! A very long day at school when the kiddos can't get outside for recess. Oh and there was wet snow mixed in with that rain. YUCK!

Ok, I'll admit, I HAVE been playing with the Nativity scene. I don't want to segregate the donkeys, and I thought the camel and the sheep would get along. Then Joseph had to go greet and welcome the three Wise Men...it gets complicated!

Yes, snow! My MIL lives a couple of towns over and they actually had snow accumulation on grassy areas.

Good afternoon ladies! I am so tired! Had to drive to Binghamton this morning to meet my sister and pick up the car. Its not a tough drive, but I haven't been sleeping well due to this Moms panel process.

At least its stopped raining. It was storming this morning on our way there, but after lunch, the skies had cleared and it was a gorgeous drive back. Its amazing how rich the colors of the leaves can get. You'd think after all my years on this earth, I'd be used to it. But it still takes my breath away. Which I like.

Hey DL! I would like to come out to your desert one day and see the sights. I've heard the colors can be magnificent there also....one day I will!

Hey guys! Man sorry I missed the webcam show. I may still check it out. So let me tell ya about my Saturday. I was taking out the trash and coming up the porch I slipped and fell through the storm door (not the glass part) I ended up getting sixteen stitches and four staples in my forehead. Of course I showed my butt!! ha ha. I'm such a baby.

Kendall passed out in the emergency room after they finished stitching me up. Luckily she got dizzy first so she was sitting down. My poor DD. I know it was probably the stress of the day, but I am going to take her to the Doc anyway. The Physician Assistant said it was probably from watching him stitch me up, seeing me fall (she was standing there) and just coming down from the "rush" but I ain't taking no chances. She is fine now, but remember she passed out over the summer too during the heat wave.

So much stress in one day.

We are both fine now btw... Well, except the big hole in my head...but otherwise.

Hi everyone. Took Walter to a trick - or - treat, halloween party today. Here is a little pic of him:

I'm back!!! And JO is on her way back too. Will be stopping to see LITC on Sunday and then home.
We had a WONDERFUL time. The Wilderness is fantastic. Kids had a blast. I think the adults were more tired out then they were. It was 10pm and the waterparks were closed and they still wanted to go play in the dry park because it was open til 11pm.
We definitely tried to relax during this trip. The 4 adults were having drinks at the bar at 2pm while the kids played in the arcade. It was early to start drinking but what the heck...its 5 o'clock somewhere.
When I saw the webcam I knew I had to call Kitty and so I could wave to her. And I was hoping she would pass the word so we could wave to everyone on the Dis. Each time we pass the cam we all waved. We spent about 2 hrs in that park then went to the other 3.
Got to finish unpakcing and cleaning up. I felt bad for JO and family because when they arrived on Thurs. we had a house full of activity. The siding guys were just finishing up but had stuff all over the lawn, driveway, yard etc. I had to keep going out to check on them or they would call me outside to ask questions - . Luckily JOs DH is a siding guy so he was a big help pointing out things I needed to talk to them about. Then I was getting phone calls from other contractors, insurance company, mortgage company and school - yikes. Couldn't be a very good hostess to JO. But once the kids came home from school and DH came home from work, things calmed down and we were on our way.
Would really love to have more of you come to Cheesehead country and have a meet at this resort. They have some great rates off season and I can always find coupons for more savings on food and fun.
