Hey JO---I see your green light...where are you? Have you heard about Carl's fine and probation> Brad just got probation. I have't looked for any articles today. My aunt in NC told mom today.

I was typing up a nice long reply somewhere else but it got lost. I'll redo it tomorrow.

I think it's a bunch of bull that Keselowski is on probation too. Sorry, but I don't think that what he did with the bumping on the final lap was anything different than lots of other drivers have done in the past.

Carl said he did it to get back at him and it's what he deserved (?). Carl has done this how many times in the past. Maybe it's time he got parked for a race?

Carl admitted he did it to get back...what Brad did was just like what any driver would do if the person ahead would not give room. I'm not saying they should give room. I'm just saying it's like what they all do. Dale Sr was the master of it! Knocking without wrecking! I am not defending Brad either---he's been asking for it. If you give, you have to take! But in last week's case, he had to take too much and so were the other drivers behind them who wrecked!

I must be more tired than I thought...I got an email from Houihans---the title of it is Fried Asparagus is back. I read it Fred Asparagus is back...kind of thinking of Fred Astair...I don't know...guess I had better get to bed. I had iced tea and that should keep me awake but maybe all the heat and sun at the game will help me get to sleep. Night...

And it's not the first time Carl has done this to Brad. And he's admitted both times that it was to wreck him and get him back. If Nascar keeps letting Carl get away with this in the slightest bit, somewhere down the line, someone is going to get Carl back and it won't be such a good outcome.

Do you remember when Carl came out of the pits and ran into Jr's car a few years ago? Did he get penalized then?

And Sr. was the master at the bump and run. Nobody could do it better.

Good morning ladies! getting ready to vernture out and run errands. Debating whether to bring an umbrella or not. Its been raining in the afternoons, so I guess I better...

Gosh my family is insane. One of my uncles sold a herd of cattle, about 30 head. Thing is, the herd was not his, it belonged to my other uncle. The entire family is in an uproar, but really, the cows are gone. What can we do besides take legal action against him? I think selling uncle is betting that no one will do anything to him, but I'm all for taking legal action against him. Really he must have made a lot of money off of the transaction...its all very fishy to me.

All I have to say is that I'm glad there's an entire continent separating my family from me. I have enough craziness on this side of the world.

I guess its kinda weird to have a bunch of cattle in the family anyway.

Welcome Tink! Sorry I"ve been a little preoccupied lately.

We had a tornado hit the house about a month ago. Lots of broken windows, roof damage, water damage, etc. Very scary experience. We had just made it to the basement when my husband covered the family with a blanket. Lights went off. Then all we could hear was glass breaking, things hitting the house (which sounded like bowling ball size hail) and wood cracking/ripping. We came up to find the house still in tact, things impaled in the sides, and a HUGE mess.
Right now we're fighting w/ insurance and mortgage company to pay the contractors or give us money for a down payment to get the work started.

Meanwhile, here we sit.

Goodness, the trouble my family gets into just embarasses the heck out of me. Yes, I'm one generation removed from farming. We primarily raise rice, sugar cane, coconuts and mangoes. We have cattle, pigs, horses, caribao, ducks, and chickens. The grove has monkeys and snakes in it so I don't go there. And apparently some crazy people. My cousins make fun of me coz I go to the farm in galoshes. There's just too much squishy stuff going on....

Cheapie Kitty denied! I'm so upset. I went to Staples...they have packing tape on sale (yes, I get excited about packing tape) 3 rolls for $6, already a good deal. But I have a $3 coupon too! And I have reward money, so it would cost me absolutely nothing...but there was no stock. And they won't do rainchecks. They told me to check back on Saturday, but I'm pouting....I want my cheap tape! I have boxes to send!
