Tix & length of your package stay

I posted this on another board, but I decided there are more folks discussing actual booking-related questions here. . .


Can you stay 7 nights on a MYW + dining package but book a 9-day hopper ticket? I was just told your tickets cannot exceed your stay by a Disney reservationist. If not, is this something that could be added at check in?

You can book the extra tickets, but NOT extra days on dining. That might be what the CM meant. Your dining credits will expire at midnight the day you check out.

The pp is correct. The dining plan credits go according to the number of nights you stay....but park tickets can be any number of days. For example, you could book a "package" with only 2 nights at the resort but get a 5-day park ticket As the pp stated, the CM was probably referring to the dining plan credits rather than park tickets

We stayed for 7 nights but purchased a 10 day non-expiring ticket. You will have no problems purchasing a longer ticket than your resort stay.

You can purchase up to a 10 day ticket, no matter how many days you are staying at a resort. Since the tickets are part of the package, you can't get them until you check in, so you would need to plan on using the extra days after you leave the disney resort. Can't access them before you check in, but can order them before.

This is exactly what I want. I want to stay at POP for 5 nights before moving to BWV for 3 nights. I just hoped I would be able to use my POP package park tickets while staying at BWV instead of having to purchase a new set of tickets for the BWV stay. According to what I'm reading, I can do this.
