Tix - Base vs. Hopper

I wasn't sure where to post this question...

We may purchase base tickets with our free dining package; however, on 2 separate days of our stay we are planning to NOT visit any Disney parks at all. Will it be possible to use 2 days of our base park pass on the same day in order to visit 2 different parks on the same day?

Monday: We have 5-day base passes, but we do not go to a Disney park at all.
Tuesday: We use day one of our pass to visit AK in the morning, and day 2 of our pass later that day to visit MK.

Will they let you do this?

But you can just buy the # of days you need tickets for, as long as it's 2 or more. A 2-day base is all that is required for free dining.
