My DD11 and I are entering our second year as AP holders. My DD is a picky eater so I decided against getting TiW the last go around. As such we've done a lot of CS and b'fast buffets (when we do TS) over the last year or so. I am pretty much over it.

For our upcoming trip in Oct. I had thought about doing FD so I wouldn't be "out" money if DD didn't like a meal, but w/ the AP discount for the room, I can add the dining plan for less than doing FD. With it being F&W, I don't want to do DDP anyway. It is just too much food. So I'm back to considering the TiW card again for the few TS meals I have planned.

My stumbling block is will we meet the $375 spend to make the card worth it? As it stands now, we are 1/3 of the way there with the TS reservations we have (2, but trying for a 3rd), and we will be staying at Pop for the first few days and will use the card at the food court there. We will go again in May where we are likely to do more TS than in Oct. Those are our two week long trips. We will do a couple of shorter 3-4 day trips where we might sneak in a TS meal.

Personally, I think over the trips we have planned we'll make that $375 mark. Has anyone not made it or found that TiW just wasn't a value when you are a party of 2? I read lots of posts from people talking about what a great deal it is, but with just me and a picky child, I'm a little apprehensive.

Minor point. Everyone who says $375 is the break-even point is wrong. The break-even point is actually $352.11. This is barbecue it not only saves you on the meal but also on the Sales Tax.

Also, if you ever have wine or beer (or other alcoholic beverages) with your meal that is also discounted.

DH and I have used it as a party of 2 (now we usually have 4). We eat at least 1 TS meal a day and we like to have drinks in Epcot. If are going enough times in year to get an AP, we get TiW.

We think it is a great value for the two of us. In fact, one of us gets an AP even if we aren't going a second time that year so we can get the TiW card but we are big table service eaters.

This is one reason why we get the TiW card - we usually get a bottle of wine at dinner and the TiW savings on that is really nice.

I was in the same situation... not sure if it would be worth it. However, we did get our $ worth and since it was good for 15 months, I will be using it for a second trip this coming winter. We did have more TS meals but it allowed us to have a lot of flexibility with only eating what we wanted and not worrying about ordeing an appetizer, entree and dessert with the dlx dp.

It's hard to imagine its not paying for itself over the number of trips you have planned. Remember that 18% tip will be added to each bill. If you would otherwise leave 20%, your break-even point will be quite a bit less than $375.
