TIW expiration date?

If I buy a tables in wonderland card on Oct. 16, will it expire Oct. 2011 or November 2011? I need to use it on two trips to make it worthwhile and I am not sure when we will go back in 2011.

It will probably expire in November. I have one that I bought in December 2009 and it expires January 2011.

I bought one on July 13, 2010 and the expiration date is August 31, 2011.

Yes, my experience as well. It has been the month end date for the subsequent month after date of purchase. We bought ours on Feb 5, 2010 and it expires on Mar 31, 2011. I think the extra time is because when the card was first available, you had to purchase by mail but now you can get it at Guest Relations but they still allow the extra time. Ours was almost 2 months this time!

We went to buy ours on 29 Jul since it expired on 31 Jul.
CM asked if we could come back on 1 Aug. He said that it expires on the last day of the month following the purchase. If we would have purchased it 29 Jul, it would have expired 31 Aug 11. But since we waited until 1 Aug 10, it now expires 30 Sep 11.

You don't have to order the TIW card anymore. I would just get it upon arrival. We got ours on Feb 5, 2010 and it is valid until March 31, 2011. You might luck out and get extra time if you wait until you arrive. Just my thought. We received almost 14 months! The last time we purchased one, the same thing almost 14 months.

Quick question - is the expiration date on the TiW card tied to your expiration date of your AP? I'm assuming the answer to that is no based on prior responses. I have an AP (but didn't need the TiW on our last trip in May 2010) but are now going in April and want to purchase it - (AP expires mid-May this year).

I'm assuming buying my TiW card in April of 2011 will make it valid until May 2012 regardless of whether or not I renew my AP, correct? It is valid for 13 months from date of purchase, yes?

No, it's 12-13 months after you purchase it. However, you must have an AP in hand (or be a FL resident) to purchase it.

Yes, that's what I thought. I have an AP that is valid for my next trip so I will purchase my TiW card when I go in April. It will then be valid until May of next year, regardless of whether or not I renew my AP later on. Woo-hoo!!
