TIW/Dining Plan question

If I have a ressie at a buffet for 8 people and it was 2 families eating together (to make up the 8) and my family was on the dining plan and the other family was not, could I use my TIW card towards the payment of the non dining family? How would that work?

You would need to create 2 separate checks. (1) for DDP and (1) for TIW.
