TiW (DDE) for drinks?

Merry Christmas, everyone! I have another TiW/DDE question.

I know that the card can be used for alcoholic drinks at a number of restaurants. Can it also be used at the lounges in the various resorts? We're thinking of doing the monorail drinking tour, , without ADRs, and I was wondering if we could use the card.

We've used the DDE card in a number of lounges, including at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, and the Gurgling Suitcase at Old Key West.

So long as the DDE is accepted in your lounge then it shouldnt be a problem. We've used it when we've gone to the bar at Narcoossees, etc for drinks...

at the lounges in the deluxe resorts and the the two PO resort lounges. I think the Tune In Lounge in DHS is covered. I don't know if the bars at the value resorts are considered part of the food courts.

From our experience....yes but be prepared to wait. The bartenders have to get a manager to approve the discount and it can take a while.

Yes, we used ours at the Tambu Lounge at the Poly and the lounge at Boma

Very true, but we have done it at Wilderness Lodges Lounge and at the Contemp by the wave.
