I have a trip planned with my adult niece and my daughters. I have an AP and will buy the TIW card the day we arrive. I have paid for all EMM, firework parties, tours and hotel. My niece is paying for her tickets and meals.

I plan on using the the TIW card as we have many signature and TS meals. How do I go about her covering the cost of her meals and drinks? Do I need to pay and retain receipts to figure it out?

For those of you who have done this handle it?

You or someone in your party will have to keep track because the TiW rule is that it has to be on one bill and the cardholder has to pay. If you ask for a separate check for your niece the TiW discount will not apply to her meal unless the server is able to sprinkle some pixie dust, but it's not something to be counted on.

Here's the TiW website and the relevant info:
From the TiW site: http://tablesinwonderland.com/

The Tables in Wonderland discount is good for up to 10 people including the member, as long as everyone is on the same check, and the Tables in Wonderland member is paying the bill.

We did this last month. I had the TIW card and my brother's family came with us on the trip. I just charged everything to the room and since he had more people we added his CC to the room. Then we calculated on the receipts how much our portion was and I paid for that using a gift card at the front desk. Worked out pretty well for us.
