TIW and Gift Certificate

I have a Dining Dough Gift Certificate for $25. If I use a Gift Certificate will I be allowed to use a TIW card for a discount?
I know I can't combine discounts such as TIW and AP but this is a Gift Certificate with a $25 value.
Wondering if anyone has tried it or asked?

What is a Dining Dough gift certificate? I don't think it's the same as a gift card.
