TIW and Character Meals?

Planning a trip for April 2012 and weighing pros/cons of N/E tix vs AP and TIW, most lists I see for TIW restaurants include the likes of Tusker House, Akershus, Crystal Palace, etc. but today on the Disney site looking at reservations and the TW icon is gray for these restaurants (the icon is highlighted in blue for LTT and Raglan Road). Can anyone in the know comment on this? One of the big pros for me on the AP/TIW side was the savings that would make doing character meals a little easier on the wallet. Have been googling and searching here and don't see anything about this being a 2012 change so hoping maybe the website is just off.
