Hello, I will be staying at the CBR with no car. I would like to get to the Titanic museum, does anyone know if there is transportation there?
I dont want to spend money on a taxi. thanks.

Hi...long taxi ride (about 12 miles or so from Disney give or take a mile depending on where you start from inside property) from Disney to the Mercado on International Drive where Titanic is located...No other transportation to I-Drive available unless you catch a bus at Downtown Disney or one of the parks that services hotels on I-Drive...would be a big pain to it that way!

FYI, this is not a museum, but an 'Exibit." There are no real artifacts from the Titanic, but replicas of many things. It was fun. A "crew member" guides you on the tour and you are given a name which is your identity on the cruise. At the end of the tour you find out if you survived or perished.

The crew member makes the tour interesting...There are about 4-5 "rooms" where the staircase, the outside deck, the parlor, and the shipyard are mocked up.

Discount tickets are available all over the place including many sites if you google "discount orlando tickets."

Enjoy, if you go....Ted

Could be a very expensive cab ride, with I-Drive traffic. I suppose you could catch a bus from DTD to Sea World, then take the I-Drive "trolley."

Call before you make the effort--Mercado (the shopping center where Titanic is located) is in a state of flux, on it's way to being torn down, I wouldn't count on anything being open there from day-to-day.

The Lynx bus runs from the Transportation and Ticket Center to SeaWorld, where you can get a free transfer to the Lynx that runs down I-Drive, or else catch the I-Ride trolley at SeaWorld. The Lynx buses are the 50 and 8, but I can't remember which is which! Nearly sure the 50 is from Disney, then the 8 at SeaWorld. We did the Titanic exhibition last year and it's great, really interesting and really well acted by our tour guide! :thumbsup2

Thank you Remember the Magic for that info I did not know about the #8 Lynx I-Drive bus.The Lynx map was confusing. We just took the I-Trolley from the Sea World bus stop. to the outlet malls but now there is another way. The bus from the TTC in WDW is bus #50. I have a Lynx schedule book if any one has questions. It sure is cheaper than a taxi and almost as easy. We are senior citizens and found it easy and safe to get around from WDW.
