'Tis the season

We were in Target yesterday, and noticed that their annual School Supplies sales have started.

Schools on Long Island are only into week 3 or so of vacation. But that doesn't matter. A sale is a sale.

So, for each of the next 4 or 5 weeks, I'll be stopping in to stock up. Target is about 1.5 miles away, so it's really no hardship.

In a family of 2 teachers and 3 students, we do burn through those supplies!! And I refuse to pay full price in October when I can get 75% off in July or August. It's kind of the same mindset that has me determined not to pay rack rate at WDW.

We have a few Rubbermaid bins in the basement; they'll get filled with the supplies. Then, Labor Day weekend as we all prepare for classes, I'll get it organized.

Nope. Don't even want to think about school starting. There will be plenty more sales to come. We are focusing on summer only at this point.

school starts in 4 weeks, so yep we have begun buying school supplies.

I do not need so many for my cherubs any longer. I still buy though and during the holidays donate the, to our local schools to help the teachers out!! I LOVE school supplies!

getting ready to send mine back to school on July 30. We went to the mall last week to stock up on uniforms. Found some good buys. I think school clothes are cheaper now that we have a uniform dress code.

Will hit the box stores for school supplies next week. Love those sales!
