Hi -

I'm trying to get a handle on how much spending money to bring. The "art" of tipping always confuses me! We are sailing with 2 adults and 1 child. Based on 3 people, what would the total amount of tips be, per cast member, for a 7-day cruise?

(and please let me know if I'm forgetting someone...)

Cabin Steward =
Waiter =
Assistant Waiter

Counting down the days!!!!

Thanks for you help,

Kristen

You forgot the head waiter. This is from Disneys web site:

Per Guest per cruise 7-Night
Dining Room Server 25.75 X 3 $77.25
Dining Room Asst. Server 18.75 X 3 $56.25
Dining Room Head Server 6.50 X 3 $19.50
Stateroom Host/Hostess 25.25 X3 $75.75
Dining Manager Your Discretion
Room Service Your Discretion

Your total:$ 228.75 Please feel free to check my math.

We also tipped a couple dollars for room service. You may want to add that in. We also tipped extra for our server, asst server and state room host because service was wonderful. I made tip envelopes that I got from another link and had the tips ready. We just added to it when it came time to tip.

Hope this helps. :boat:

it's a good idea to bring a few $ for Castaway Cay post office....the postage to send a postcard from there is cash only....sending a postcard from CC makes for a great souvenier....

Thanks for the link to the tip calculator!

No problem! I really like the idea so that I can have the envelopes all ready to go. (I will bring my own and then stick them into Disney's.)

Then I can add money (or hopefully not take out) as needed!

The guy that made this (I do remember that it was a guy- thanks wherever you are :D ) really helped us all out!
