Tips on the QSDP?

What is the etiquette on tipping on the quick service/counter service dining plan? I wouldn't tip in the outside world like in MickeyD's or BK but I don't know what the rules are in WDW and it's mentioned for Pepper Market in CS resort? Help? Is it poor manners not to tip if you are on the counter service plan?

No need to tip unless you are getting some special service - as in the Pepper Market, where they craft your meal to your own design at the skillet station, etc. And even then I really don't remember tipping the person. Maybe I did. It's been 7 or 8 years...
