tips on snagging CRT?

This is my first attempt to get a CRT reservation in years. My 180+10 is next week. Any tips for making sure I get it? TIA!

I just did it today, and at 180+10, you should be ok. Do it online if you can, so you don’t need to wait on hold. However, someone the other day said that you can’t differentiate between children and adults in the online booking, so if you have children (under 10) in the party then you will probably want to call, so you don’t overpay.

If you do it at 180+10 then I don’t think you will have any problems getting reservations even if you call. Good luck!

Don't freak out. BOG is the hardest to get at 180 days. If you don't find what you want just keep looking. I just booked for about 6 weeks out. Nothing when I first looked but I kept watching and found what I want.

It will be easiest if you book last day of your trip. We had better luck calling. Online showed it wasn’t available. We called and got it.

Yep to that, definitely keep looking as things pop up

I will say CRT seems to be harder to get a ressie in after the 180 mark (I would say this has been the case for our past 2 trips), but as others have said, 180 day mark you will be fine. Good luck!

I called when my 180 window opened and was able to get a 4pm for our second day there.

I got it for our trip last May about 2 months out. I used the touring plans reservation finder. Got the alert and booked it.

You should get it at 180 +10, but as PP said, if not put in a free Touring Plans reservation finder. They found me CRT as well as others I couldn't get!

I'll chime in and agree that TR reservation finder works. And it's free.

Do you still have to pay in advance if you have a DDP in your package?
