Tips on seating Cirque du Soleil?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain the difference in seating for La Nouba? I realize the more I pay is supposed to mean a better view. But how low in category can I go and still get a good view of the show? Do I need front and center? Or are the Category 1, 2, 3, seats still a good view? I looked at the seating chart online but it doesn't really show much. Anyone been there that could tell me about the theater? Was the show entertaining for a 9, 12, 13 year old?

Thanks for any replies......

This link shows the seating areas.

During our last visit we were in Category 2, Section 203 (Blue color). The view was wonderful. From past experiences there as well, this was actually one of the better viewing areas. Many of the sights in the show are not at the stage level but are in the area above the stage instead so having a more centralized view often works better. (The close seats in the middle are those that the pre-show entertainment focuses on, clowns play with audience members, etc.)

Enjoy the show.

Oh, and the kids loved it, especially the bikes.

We had the front and center seats and we could not watch the preshow without turning around to see. Also some of the show on the stage was difficult to see because you had to look straight up. If we had to do it again we would not spend the extra money for those seats, but instead buy seats more in the center section.

Enjoy the show, we thought it was great!!!!

Category 2 seats ar generally considered to be the best seats.

We had category 3 seats and thought they were perfect!

We sat in section 203 in the first row of "blue seats" right behind the gap, so there wasn't anyone sitting right in front of us. It was a great location!:yay:

For every Cirque du Soleil show, I always try to get the front seats of the 2nd set of rows (which would be 203-205; Orange section). Someone mentioned the Category 3 area behind the gap, that would be great too. Reasons for this:

1) I'm short, and get quite irritated having to look over a tall person (this happens to me so many times! And if you're paying as much money for a CDS show, you might as well have a good view. Considering you're bringing kids, this would be something you want to consider.

2) You get a better view of when they perform in the aisles.

Hope that helps! I saw La Nouba in 2005. It was great!
