Tips on how to pack and send suitcases 1 week before departure

How do I possibly pack 1 week before departure? My MIL and husband are driving to FL to MILs winter home 5 days before my son and I fly down. They are trying to help me out so I dont have to checkin luggage. But we will be needing to wear clothes to school/work before we leave. Do you think I can just take all the extra clothes in our carryons?

Pack your summer things and wear jeans and T shirts on the plane w/a couple of changes of underwear and a pair of shorts to wear your fisrt day and the jeans for cool weather.

I went through my clothes and decided what I want to wear when. I need to buy more sox/underwear for both my son and I. I asked my husband to check out his too. I want us to have at least 10 change of clothes so we dont have to do laundry while at Disney. I may do some after we get to MILs house.
