Just wanted to say we were on the Liberty in November. Beautiful ship and great crew. We had an aft balcony too. that was a nice trip!!! Wish it was me going back this summer!!

I'm soooo tempted to call and chanage our cabins . . . but with six of us, I have to have the kids in an adjoining room, and I can't do a guarantee this time.

I just checked cruise prices -- I'm always looking for a price drop -- and I compared Carnival and Princess. I'm booked on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas for $1111/person. A similar Carnival ship is $1259/person, and a simliar Princess ship is just over $1200 (can't rememer exact number). I compared the same week in July, balcony cabins for one week, and I only looked at their larger, newer ships. It must be that some weeks are just oddballs.

What port is this? We're from NJ and wanted to go out of a local port. NY was much more expensive, Bayonne wasn't appealing, so we ended up at Baltimore. There are great cruise fares out of some of the Florida ports, but we are a group of 11 (possibly 17), and flying wasn't appealing. We also wanted to choose our cabins so we could be near to each other.
