We are taking a 4 night cruise this coming March. I am clueless on what tips I should be planning for and percentages on what should be paid? I don't want to miss tipping someone I should.

Basically, the $12/day covers Dining Room Server, Dining Room Asst. Server, Dining Room Head Server, and Stateroom Host/Hostess. Senses Spa & Salon and Vista Spa & Salon services include 18% gratuities automatically. Also a 15% gratuity is automatically added to drinks ordered from bar and deck service tabs.

Unless you have them removed, gratuities of $12.00 per passenger (guest) per night will be added to your onboard account. That $12.00 breaks out to $4.00 per guest per night to your stateroom host; $4.00 per guest per night to your dining room server; $3.00 per guest per night to your assistant server; and $1.00 per guest per night to your head server.
At the end of your cruise you will receive, with your nightly turndown service, tip coupons and envelopes. The coupons will indicate the name, position, and amount being tipped. You separate the coupons and place them in the proper envelope (also printed with position name), and hand them out the last night of the cruise. If you wish, you can add additional cash to the envelopes at this time. However, the $12.00/guest/night is standard for most cruiselines.
Other tips onboard are 15% automatically added to any purchased drinks, and 18% automatically added to spa services.
