Tips for touring SW in summer?

I thought we could make a list for those of us going in the summer. I'm really afraid of the heat!
We will take an afternoon break at the hotel and also do some of the indoor shows( Allure and Pets Ahoy) when its really hot at 11 or 12.
What are your tips?

Go do Wild Arctic when its hot...its really cool down there! By the time we rode the helicopter simulation and the walk through exhibit, we were probably down out of the heat a good 30 minutes or so.

What is that ride like? Is it scary for an 8 yr. old who doesn't like roller coasters or fast rides? Is it like Star TOurs?
