Does anyone have any tips for those of us who drive to parks? We are staying at bonnet creek.

Not sure what kind of tips you are looking for other than go early. If you are bringing your cell/camera, take a picture of the name of the area and number of the row you are in so you can easily find your car at the end of the day. not sure if parking is free when staying at BC but if not, bring at least $15 bucks as that's how much it is to park now.

Parking was $17 back in April. Like the idea of taking a photo. We had a rental car, non-descript gray Ford Focus, my wife snapped a photo of the license plate and sent it to me at the start of the trip. Then when we parked, I would text her the row number we were in.

We also kept jackets, umbrellas, water, and snacks (crackers, granola bars) in car, just in case the weather changed, or our plans changed.

from Bonnett Creek everything you want to go to except Down Town Disney is a left turn out of the resort. Buy stuff at the Hess station by the Boardwalk and even gas is cheaper there that elsewhere in orlando. Follow the purple signs, know which area you need to go to (everything is divided by resort areas, MK, Epcot, AK)

I read in another thread that you can self-park at MK for $17 or valet park at the Contemporary resort for a few dollars more ($20) with a 5-10 min. walk to MK. Saves a little time not having to wait for monorail or ferry. Also if you are staying for fireworks, you wont have to wait in lines for the monorail or ferry...just walk to the CR and have someone bring your car to you :car:

Do NOT follow iphone maps!!!! Every time it's taken me down a restricted road, CM parking, or expects me to drive halfway into a theme park to make a u-turn. Follow the signs haha.

I have used my Android maps to get around (not necessarily to the Parking areas) and it's been pretty spot on.

Valet parking at Cont. does work. If your willing to pay you'll have a short walk to MK. We've stayed at Bonnet Creek several times. It is our favorite resort in the Disney area. The parks are minutes away and very easy to find. Have fun
