TIPS for specific rides!

Sorry for OT. I have 2 pugs, one apricot boy, one cashmere colored girl. Both spoiled as heck, won't do any tricks or commands. I tried having them pose one time and they got real upset, especially my girl, Emily, who is famous for hyperventilating when getting anything done (cutting nails, getting shots or eye drops, etc). I have a picture of one of them on my phone as a wallpaper, but only one eye and a nose, some whiskers, because that's all i could get. Right now, they're both snoozing on my brand new mattress.

Ha ha, you're a nut!! :) My son will LOVE your suggestions, thanks! :) (I'll tell him to try it for TOT if he would like, but I may hide it from him for IJ - is that safe to do that??)

My tip: Mulholland Madness - GET ON the ride quickly - GET OFF the ride quickly!! I have found that maybe I am too slow, but my feet are still in (usually one foot on the out and one foot still in) while they take off again. I hurt my back for a few days last time because of it. Ouch!!

This is SO true. I've almost lost some limbs getting off that ride.

How cute! your wee ones sound to be! and little drama queens and kings too! he he! ;) maybe they need a visit from the Dog Whisperer, have you seen the show? it is on the National Geographic Channel, in Northern Ca. on Com cast. ( Com cast bites) anyway, the name of the whisperer, is Caesar, and I believe that he must have been a dog in a past life, because he is so terrific with handling and training dogs, and not becoming eaten by them! seriously. He could whip those little pampered pooch's into picturing taking shape etc. in no time.
I wonder if he can assist with unruly toddlers too? hmm, maybe I will have to look into that! ;) he he, no but really seriously.

good advice! we've only made it onto the top level of Soarin' once, but it was DEFINITELY the best experience we've ever had on it. (it's not easy to get these seats, lol, we'd probably ridden this ride 40+ times over the years before being seated in the row that ends up at the top). any suggestions for how to get in these seats? the CM's direct you to certain rows, so it doesn't seem we have any control over it. :confused3

when you go to wait in line and they put you in the 3rd line, you just tell them we will wait to the next ride to ride so we can be in the front! They have always taken our request as no problem!!! It is so much better, when I see the feet in front it ruins the ride for me...

For some reason we always get lucky and have only NOT gotten the top row a couple of times. :cool1:

Here's my tip good for all rides-

If your bag or purse isn't the kind that goes across your shoulder, set it on the floor but put your leg through the strap. This way, it won't fall out AND you won't forget it on the ride. I do this everytime.

Not all the rides!!! ;) Don't try this on Soarin' or Maliboomer! :thumbsup2

To Err is human , To ARRRRR!! is Pirate!!!:rotfl2:
I totally agree!! It is so distracting when the flashes are going off!! When I was a kid, I think I remember them saying it in Japanese and Spanish and English. Now they just say it in English.
No FLASH Pictures! I think they should add pictures with the big red slash through it!

I remember when I was 8 going on POTC and having someone videotape it in front of me (on one of those old video cameras with the light). UGH! :headache: Ruined it!

i've both the flash on potc and those annoying flashing things that you can put on your head or use as a necklace.. . wanted to puke when the ride ended. . . the dude totally ignored the ENTIRE boat telling him to shut the thing off. . . GRRR. . .

tip... . no line for BTMRR in the morning, well usually. . .

HEY does anyone else have the dude that works in fantasyland at the cart behind the castle mess with your kids?? I swear he always has a light saber and picks on of my boys to mess with everytime we see him . . . one time my oldest was being, well a teenager full of tude. . . and he stopped in front of him and just stood there and stared. . . he would be awesome over at HM. . . anyway he seems to take pride in picking on the boys, perhaps because it is by a girlie girl shop??? and not in a creepy way, he is funny!

You're not talking about Darth Maul are you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9MOgn-bWO4

Those light up things on POTC and HM are most annoying I tell people to please turn them off, maybe I should get a bull horn for the other offending boats, since they are just far enough away, to where either they will not hear you, or will flip you off.
