When you decide to break into someones car don't stand there and say out loud, "gee this would be an easy car to break into", while the car owner is standing next to you.
When you steal cell phones from the car don't be so stupid to make phone calls on them that can be traced.
Don't put your picture in the year book if you're going to break into cars, but thank you that made it even easier to identify you.

Do we want to press charges against the 17 and 18 yr that broke into my daughters boyfriends car and stole quite a few items? Of course we do! The two guys did confess. They also did alot of damage to the car.
MY daughter and her boyfriend had to leave their cell phones and other school stuff in the car (it was locked in the glove box and out of sight). Her boyfriend had a football game and they thought this would be safer instead of leaving it in the training rooms (things have been stolen there too).
They ran into these two guys after coming back from a program they attended in the morning. They hurried to class and thought surely they aren't going to do anything but they did.
