Hi!

I'll be in the Happiest Place on Earth solo for just an afternoon and an evening on 10/23--the park closes at 8, and I should be there by 1:30 or 2 at the latest. I know I want to ride Indy, Pirates and HM, and go on BTMRR after dark, and I've avoiding Splash because I don't want to get wet. I know there are no fireworks or Fantasmic.

Any tips on how to have a fantastic trip?

If I were you, I'd get an Indy or HMH FP right away and stand in line for the other. Then ride Pirates and whatever you want to. Then towards the end of the day, come back and use your Indy FP and finish your day off with BTMRR. Some good (not awkward) rides for singles include Buzz (you get 2 guns! It's a really fun challenge), Star Tours, Autopia, Nemo, Jungle Cruise, and what you already mentioned.
