I have an upcoming two week trip at POP with dh, dd6 and dd8. We take many trips a year so were ecstatic to get Free dinning! I have stayed off-site in the past, but found I rather stay onsite and share a room with the little ones.

Any tips from those who have had longer stays? Anything I can bring (ex. collapsible clothing hamper..)? We will be flying, but will have extra room in our bags. Merci
The key to a happy stay is going to be organization. The more time you spend corralling the clutter each day, the more comfortable everyone will be. I would start by limiting the amount of “stuff” the kids bring along. They will likely accumulate more “stuff” during the visit.
Bring a mesh drawstring bag for shopping and keep it in your park bag. It will eliminate the cost of buying shopping bags at the parks plus that will be one less thing cluttering up the room. Better yet, don’t buy any “stuff” until your last day.
Make a plan as to where everything will be stashed when you get into your room. Snacks on the bureau. Beverages in the fridge. No half-consumed bottles of water by the bedside. All refillable mugs washed and by the sink after use.
Buy a couple of wire shelfs with collapsing legs, like the kind you would use in your kitchen cabinet or countertop. It will fit in your luggage. Use one on the counter in the bathroom area to act like a drying rack for the mugs. Or just to expand your vertical space for toiletries. Use the other for the counter below the TV or in the closet to store shoes.
An over-the-door shoe organizer for shower stuff, sunscreen, flip flops.
Small collapsible fabric bin (like Closetmaid minis) to keeps MBs, wallets and keys in one place. Makes it easier to get out the door to in the morning when you don’t have to hunt for these things. Use another one to toss all of your small electronics in.
A folder to keep all papers together (resort maps, personal itinerary, DME paperwork, receipts, etc.)
Clothespins to hold curtains shut (they always seem to let a small amount of stray light in) and for hanging up wet items.
Unpack completely and hang clothes or stow in the drawers. No living out of a suitcase! Put the suitcases one inside the other like Russian nesting dolls and stow them under the bed until you’re packing up to leave.
