Tips For Limo/towncar Drivers?

Hello, all. I just booked with sunray, and I was wondering what the "reasonable and customary" tip was for limo/towncar drivers. Me and the DW have always gone Mears/ME. That is 1 to 2 dollars per bag. does this apply here, or is there another standard?. Just wonderin'

Town car drivers should get 15-20% of the price of the ride.

Allow me to add that you should tip each way rather than doing so all at once. You may get a different driver on the way back to the airport.

So if is 20% of the ride (I guess that would include the people, luggage, 30 minute food shop and the 'taking tour' from MCO), SO....

If the ride costs $100 round trip - DO you tip $20 each way ?

Or $10 from MCO to the WDW resort and then again $10 from the WDW resort to MCO ?

If it's $100 round trip, then it's $50 each way, so you tip $10 each way.

BobP - Thank you for clarifying tipping.

We reserved an Escalade @ $170 round trip

So we will do $20 tip each way if great service (about 23% tip)
or
we will do $15 tip each way if service is just OK (about 17% tip)

I like to round to the nearest $5 - I do not want to deal with single dollar bills.

I usuallly tip 20% of the total, split between the two legs in case we have a different driver on the return trip.

I also tip extra on the inbound trip if I am taking atvantage of the grocery stop. The stop takes the driver out of service for at least 30 minutes when he/she could be doing another trip so I personally feel it appropriate to tip extra. Just a quick calcuation of the $$ I am saving by having the grocery stop makes it an easy tip for me!!
