Ok so what do you think of doing a water park in late Feb early march?? I will be there the 25-mar 3. We didn't do a water park the past two times we went down and I am itching for some water slides. Right now where I am it is about 30 degrees with snow so I think just about anything will be warm compared to this!

If you have anyother advice for going at this time please let me know!

If I could of talked DH into it we would of went on Sunday it was so hot. I've basically been told by everyone who lives here that our winter is basically over except for one or two more cold snaps maybe. So the weather should be nice for you to go ride the water slides

We go President's week every year. We've always been able to go to one of the water parks. Usually we have at least a couple of days that are definitely warm enough. :sunny:

We are going at the same time & are planning a water park day! Our weather here is like theirs - we are just going to start checking the weather a few days out to help us decide which day. I know the pools at WDW are heated - what about the water parks - anyone know?

Wheather the water parks are open or closed depends on the number of people who show up. We were there in Dec. once, on what we thought was a beautiful day, high 60's, and the parks were closed at 11:00 because there weren't enough people. At least 200 people have to be there or they close. We did get to go in for about 1/2 hour and they didn't take our ticket but then we had to leave. So we went back to our resort and spent a couple of hours in the pool there. So being from Michigan you might think it's very warm but people from down South might not. :sunny:

Thank you everyone for the adivce!
I think we will deffinlty go to a water park now!
The only decision I have to make is which one!

Water Parks are heated to 80 degrees. Only Blizzard Bay will be open until Feb 26th since Typhoon Lagoon is closed for repairs.

We are planning at least part of a day at the water parks during Presidents week.

It totally depends on how the weather is when you are down there. We went March 5-12 last year and the day we decided to go to the water park it was only about 60 degrees outside. The water was COLD! But there have been days lately that have been around 80 degrees so most likely you will be fine going to the water park then. I think a cold front had just come through last year or something.

YEAH!!! :cheer2: for Bogart!
Glad everything is ok.

We are taking our suits with us for 1/27 -2/05. I don't know if it will be warm enough for me, but at least if it is I will be ready.

Our waterpark experience:

Jan. '98 (or was it '99 ?)- went to TL it was 80 plus degrees

Feb. '02 never had a day warm enough to brave the waterpark. Warmest day was in low 70's.

Feb. '04 first 2 days were low 80's so we abandoned our touring schedule and hit BB. It was fun but a bit cool early in the a.m.

You just never know if it will be warm enough in Feb. I have been early Feb. and late Feb. Just be prepared to drop everything and go to the waterpark if you get a nice day!
