Tips for keeping Park Hopper passes safe?

My DD 13 and I will be on our own for four days in May at WDW. Now, usually DH holds on to all our important stuff when we're travelling - passport, tickets, cash :rotfl2: because DD and I lose things so easily.

So, without DH to be there, I'm really worried we might lose our Park Hopper passes, especially if we're taking them out frequently to get FastPasses.

Does anyone have any tips? Where do you keep your pass? Is it like a paper ticket or is it a plastic card? And, what will happen if one of us does lose our ticket/pass - yikes! :earseek:

I lost ours this april the28th at MK. Just go to the city hall and tell them, they'll cancel the old tickets and issue new tickets. They are using figerprinting at the gates now so noone can use your ticket except you. :earsgirl: Hope that helps.

I took a backpack on our trip last week. Howver, ended up buying a 3- compartment fanny pack, and it was great! Also, a plastic box-on-a-string that they sell at the water parks is great for swimming activities!

keep them in your wallet - with your license/money/debit/credit cards

My wife keeps hers around her neck, in one of those plastic cases you use at the water parks. Her case holds her pass, room key and some cash.

I prefer to keep mine in my wallet, in my waist pack.

It helps to have a copy of the back of your ticket that you can show guest relations if you lose your ticket. It isn't a finger print they are taking when you insert you fingers.

Quick thread hijack--if your tickets are on your room key, I would assume the room key is the typical credit card like key, can you punch a hole in the key so you can hook it on a key ring attached to a backpack?

We got a lanyard with a plastic pouch attached to it and we carry them in there. It also has info on DD in there (for her medical stuff and our cell)

If you end up using your room key for park admission, you might have a problem. The card doesn't just get swiped through the turnstile; the whole thing gets sucked in and processed, then spit out.

I'd check with a CM, unless there's someone lurking around these parts who's done that before... :confused3

How about putting it in a small wallet or change pouch in your pocket? Maybe you can attach the small change pouch to a key ring to a belt loop if you are really worried?

I don't know specifically about the WDW keys/passes, but I put a hole (long story, seemed like a good idea at the time...) in my work ID and it completely ruined it's ability to be scanned, etc. Totally dead. Personally, I don't think I'll be putting anymore holes in electronic cards. :guilty:

Hi CBear,
I don't know if you are into ebay or not, however, I just purchased two of these a while back and i LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM....go to ebay.com and in the search type in: disney ticket holders and there is an item that I purchased that is on a retractable mickey mouse head shaped clip that has a plastic holder and you can put your tickets, fastpasses, credit cards, room keys, everything in it, very handy, I was very impressed when I got mine in the mail.....hope this helps some
