My husband and 2 boys both wear eyeglasses. Will they need to remove them for any rides? Will a strap keep them on? Any advice for us?

Unless you have a non rider in the group to hold them.utilize the lockers!!

I always have to put all prescription and sunglasses down my bra (4 pair)...:rolleyes1

Be very careful on MIB, we lost a pair in there, but we went on St. Patrick's day to Lost and Found at the front of the park where the guy had about 20 huge mail boxes of lost glasses. He dumped the 1st one out and my DD reached in and grabbed her pair. When Irish Eyes are Smiling:goodvibes

the guy was shocked--he said no one ever gets that lucky:goodvibes

I wear glasses and never had a problem with mine except for the hulk cause about lost them a time or two :scared1:

I do wear a strap on mine, just because I dont have a second pair (I know I know) and it would suck to have to go the rest of vacation with my husband having to read all the menus to me

My friend Chip bought some straps on the park and they worked fine during the entire trip. Well, both days he actually went to the park.

Have the kids place their glasses in their front pocket. I have done this with my sunglasses. As long as the pants are not too tight, they will be fine. Fanny packs are great for this, but I know they are not the first choice of people vacationing these days.

I've always worn my prescription glasses on all the rides, coasters included, and have never lost them. Do your husband's and son's glasses fit pretty tightly? I think unless they're very loose fitting, they should be fine to wear them on the rides.

Just returned from 5 nights at IOA/USF, and wore them on every ride with no problems. Also been on some of the fastest, most extreme coasters in the USA, and ALWAYS wear my glasses, no straps, and never a worry of losing them.

I bought a reverse fanny pack. It is the kind people use when you go hiking. It is made buy mountainsmith that is one word. The one I bought has a place for two water bottles and has two pockets. One pocket is good sized the other is smaller but is water resistant and padded. :goodvibes

This applies to me as well. I always wear mine and have never lost them.
