I want to take at least 1 different/funny/out of the ordinary pic of my daughters (10, 9 & 5 months) while in Disney for our holiday card. It would have to be done in Epcot, DtD or at a hotel. Any suggestions on where / ideas on what to do / props (something small) are appreciated!!

TIA

What time of year are you going to be there to take the picture? Are you wanting holiday themed?

We used our pic with a gigantic Mickey head pumpkin in DT Disney for one of our Holiday card. And another year, we used my DD (who was 2 at the time) snuggling with Minnie. I think it's all about how you want to do it. If I could do one for this year, I'd probably pick one of us being scary outside of HM or a basic pose in front of the castle (we are going to DLR in Sept). I think pics from vacations are fun as heck for Holiday cards.

Unfortunately we will be there BEFORE all the fun Halloween stuff :(

Are you going to have them do the BBB at all? You could always do a fun pic of them somewhere after they get all dolled up (cept baby). Or if they are going to wear princess dresses, you could do a fun picture of them dressed up somewhere.

With the scary skeleton captain at the ship's wheel in front of World of Disney?

In a British phonebox at the UK?

No BBB this trip. We are just there for a few days for a TaeKwonDo turney

I'm not sure if I've read about it here or elsewhere, but there are "secret" things you can ask charactors to get a "special" response... the one that comes to mind is if you tell Woodie and Jessie that "Andy is coming" they will reportedly fall over and play dead. Something like that might make an extra cute picture.

Sorry, I just saw your locations for the pic. Doh (read Suz, read!)!! How about a picture of them at the beginning of World Showcase? Or in front of the fountain? Or near a topiary?

I dont think they do that anymore. Too many people were doing it....

Well my computer crashed so I lost most of what I wrote so this is just a few quick suggestions.

DTD:
Days of Christmas Store: You could actually do themed here using the store items and displays as backdrops. They have some Disney holiday themed items, such as Santa hats. They have a count down clock that you could have the kids make faces that it is so far away.

Lego Store: Not sure what currently is displayed, but could do something with what is there. Kids could mimic the items on display or play off them.

World of Disney Store: So many options here between displays and items for sale.

Epcot:

Do a collage style card with pictures of the kids in the different countries. Pick the spots that really show off items that are specific to that country or use a prop in one of the stores.

Take some books and have Belle and the kids all reading a book.

Have the kids looking down the well with Snow White.

Resorts:

Pop: 70's section has an over sized foosball, the kids could be the balls; Also there is a twister game that the kids could be playing

All Stars - So many over sized items that could be played off of

Any of the resorts with a beach: Kids dressed as pirates searching for treasure chest

Get a good picture of everyone in front of Spaceship Earth - make sure you can see a little sky all the way around the "ball" in the photo. Send the picture to me when you get home and I'll add a giant ornament hanger to the ball and maybe paint some snow on the ground around you.

...I'm a graphic designer and certified in Photoshop. A project like this would be quick and fun.

That would be awesome - Thanks!!!!

I would do a "magic shot" with one of the WDW photographers. I got a great one last year of magic shot Olaf with my kids in from of Cinderellas Castle, very cute

Great! Keep in mind when you take the picture, that I'll need room to add the hanger without cutting off your family. Best bets are to take a few shots from different distances and angles. A low angle looking up at the fam and the top of the ball would work too. Also family does not need to be centered under ball. For sky above, I just need a sliver of it minimum.

If anyone else wants one, holler.
