TIPS - Coins, bills, ????

So am I reading this correctly - $1 for room service? How about the people who bring up the bags?

I hate to skimp on tips. Thanks!

Laura

I always did $2 for room service when we ordered a couple of things. We typically got the chicken tenders and a couple of cookies. If we got that and added a sandwich or something, I'd add another $1.

For the bags, I'd tip $1 per bag for normal size luggage. If I'd had one of those 30 inch, 70 pound monsters, I'd probably tip at least $2 for it.

You'll purchase the postcards at the Disney-run gift shop. That purchase will be charged to your KTTW card. But the postage stamps are purchased at the Castaway Cay post office. You will need cash for the stamps.

are the post cards on CC the same as on the ship? can I buy the stamps while on board and just mail them from CC?

Castaway Cay is in the Bahamas and the Castaway Cay post office is part of the Bahamas postal service. I don't believe the ship sells Bahamas postage stamps. If you're on the 3-night or 4-night cruises, you could purchase postage stamps in Nassau or Freeport and use them to mail postcards at Castaway Cay. But they have special-issue Disney Cruise Line postage stamps at the Castaway Cay post office, so it's worth your while to get off the ship to purchase your stamps there.
