Tips and tax on meal ... DPP

If I understand, I need to figure approx 18% tip and 6% tax on the cost of our DPP meals, is that correct ?

Also, at buffet meals like Boma and Tusker, are non-alcholic drinks included or are they extra.

I'd like to have a 'ball park' on our tip and tax expenses. Do you pay with cash ? debit card ? hotel card ?

Can you tell this is our first trip to Disney World ? Thanks for your many tips. ( no pun intended.)

Tax is included on the dining plan. You just need to pay the tip (each of our bills showed an 18% amount and a 20% amount). We paid some of ours with cash and the rest were on our room charge.

All non-alcholic drinks are included.
