This is my first post on here and couldnt resist responding and letting you know how great FW is!! You are going to have such a great time at FW!!!
We went to FW 2 years ago in our 36' Fifth Wheel and had such a great time, on the way back to MN we turned around and went back to FW for another week!
I have gone to Disney World every year and stayed in one of the wonderful hotels, but FW is just a fun different experience!!!
Here are some tips:
-Dont worry about backing into your site...it could be a little nerve racking, but just take it slow and remember, you can release your stress on Big Thunder Mountain only a boat ride away.
- Dont forget your bikes. Once parked the main transportation of the resort is either bike or golf cart. If you are active you can easily get around on your bike, otherwise there are golf carts to rent but call ahead!
- Bring decorations! We went around Halloween and A LOT of people decorate their site. Ive heard people going all out for Christmas!
-Unless we are starving or running late for breakfast reservations, we rarely took the buses. We loved the relaxing boat ride to the Magic Kingdom and got all giggly each time we pulled into dock. Even if we werent spending the day at the Magic Kingdom we would ride the boat, get on the monorail to EPCOT and either stay and enjoy EPCOT or walk through to Disney Studios or board a bus from EPCOT to Animal Kingdom.
- Youve gotta go to the Hoop-de-do-revue at FW!
- The best feeling is after spending a day at the park and going back to your campsite. Because your camper is familiar and feels like home...its the strangest/best feeling to have your "house on wheels" close to Disney World!!
