do you have to tip the guys that bring you drink at the pools? how many single dollars should we bring?

Yes, you should tip those who do an extra service for you such as bringing you a drink at the pool, room service, etc.

What you tip is entirely up to you but would do the same as if you were at a bar, restaurant or hotel ::yes::

Have a wonderful time.

Along with the drink they will give you a charge slip to sign, it will have an 18% gratuity already on it. (I think it was 18%)

Thank you ducklite. Have never ordered a drink on board so was not aware they already had the tip included. That is good to know.

We have ordered room service though and did tip the CM then.

All fee-based drinks (individual sodas bought poolside, mixed drinks from the bars, smoothies served at dinner) have an automatic gratuity added.

OK so the gratuity is included, would it be inappropriate to add to this? If it is acceptable to add would you pencil it in on the charge slip or would the server be more happy with cold hard cash? Are they able to accept the real green stuff?

I have already gotten $100 in ones and thought it might be a special way to tip, if cash is accepted.

Thanks for your expertise.

Thank you so much. This is great. I was going to figure out the denominations I needed today, so I could head to the bank and fill my envelopes. Done! I love it!

Thanks again!

tipping the waiters for bring drinks is an option not a must.

of course that is an option.but if you were working for 2.50$ an hour would you like to be tipped?i am just saying this because everybody work hard and we are in a pool chairs enjoying our vacation.

There is an automatic 18% gratuity on drinks. I don't feel obligated to offer anything additional under most circumstances. If I were going to add anything additional, I would add it to the "additional gratuity" line on the bill, rather than handing them cash.

There is already a tip included with every drink ordered. If you prefer to tip more than what is already included, this is optional only. I normally will tip one dollar extra in cash if the service is exceptional and not for every drink. Lets say a drink costs $5. A tip of 18% is already included (or at least that is what was posted) so the cost is now $5.90. If I add a dollar more that brings the percentage tip to around 38%. That's a pretty good tip if you ask me. - Mike
