So I just want to check I tip the correct people for our Escape Wedding

Planner - no tip, gift instead?
Randy?
Stan?
Ana?
Rev Knox - No?
Anyone else?

How much would you tip?

Here's what we did.

Planner - no tip, we sent a gift instead. Disney adds a service charge to their prices so I don't really think you need to tip their people.

Randy and Stan - I think the rule is that you don't tip anyone who owns the business as they get all your money anyway. I didn't tip Randy, and I didn't use Stan (didn't get a video).

I used Beaute Speciale, but it wasn't Ana who was there on the day. I tipped the hairdresser and makeup girl $20 each.

I had Rev Miller and didn't tip him, for the same reason as Randy and Stan.

We tipped the limo driver $20. I don't think he worked for Disney, the limos come from Mears.

Hope that helps!

for hair and makeup, how many people was that tip for? Just you? or did you have bridesmaids that also used the service? Did they tip extra, or did the $20 cover everyone?

It was just for me and my nine year old daughter. I had my hair done (short hair) and makeup and my daughter just had her hair done.

Sore subject for me...lol

We didnt tip anyone.

Quite honestly, we had an intimate wedding and felt VERY rushed. Although we had a fantastic time, looking back there were a few things that probably could have been a little less rushed. While my wedding coordinator was very nice, I could tell I was not her "top dog" if you will on that day. She probably had a 50k wedding that night or something which all her focus went to, (cant blame her!)

It was 200.00 for the Rev. He got the entire amount.

Trails End, due to party size they tacked on the 20% gratuity

I did my own hair/makeup

We had no extras added on and no outside vendors to tip.

My father in-law tipped the limo driver...dont know how much.

We stayed on DVC points and got no special treatment whatsoever, so no tips there either. We actually got better treatment the year I won the Dream it be it sweepstakes for the Contemporary Tower stay, at least they acknowledged our special "event"

I truly feel the "what will you celebrate" promo this year screwed us.

I have 4 cousins who all honeymooned in WDW and each of them got upgraded to super rooms...I got nada! I know its not something you should expect but c'mon....we practically had to beg for our "just married" pin.

to each his own

take care and congrats!

You usually don't tip the proprietor. The only exception I made to this was Ana because I wasn't going to tip the other girls and not her.

What would you do if Ana was the only one coming? I am having her do my hair and makeup for an engagement shoot? Do I tip her, or not since shes the business owner? Thanks!

When I had my trial done she wasn't alone. It was her for hair and another lady for makeup. I tipped them both $20. I have no idea if that was a good, bad, or indifferent tip. Seemed reasonable to me.

when I had my make-up done it was just Ana, I did tip her because it kinda felt weird not to since I would normally tip if I went to a hair salon or spa. I was also really happy with her work, so I wanted to tip her too.
