20% is the typical amount. If you are booking round-trip, divide the total cost by 2 and tip 20% of that amount to the driver in each direction (since you may not have the same driver)

This week was my 4th trip with Tiffany Towncar. When the driver left me at the hotel, he added 20% to the Visa bill! I was surprised and not happy. The drivers on previous trips left it up to me to decide how much to tip. I did have the same driver on the return trip, but sometimes haven't.

Also, he parked far from the bell services area and expected me to carry my stuff myself. Suitcase, tote bag, 4 bags from shopping. I said I couldn't carry it all, so he took it over and dumped it on a bench. I had to leave it there and go find a bellman. Don't let the driver do this to you. (Previous drivers didn't).

Other drivers were wonderful - don't know what his problem was.
