Hello everyone. We have arranged for Murray Hill Transportation to provide us with round trip transportation from MCO to PB, and back to MCO at the end of our trip. The total round trip rate for the 5 of us came to $105.00. I am aware that I need to tip the driver who is picking us up from MCO, and also the driver that will return us to the airport at the end of our trip. My question is (and I hope this isn't too dumb to ask...) do I tip each driver based on the $105.00 which is the round trip fare, or on half of that amount, which would be one-way?
I am inclined to base my tip on the $105.00, but wanted to know how everyone else handles this! Thanks in advance for any responses to this question.:cutie:

We just got back from RPR and used cbc transportation so I don't know if all the companies are the same. But the way cbc did it is that we had the same driver both times, and we paid him the total price plus tip when he dropped us off at the hotel. DH didn't realize we were paying for round trip at the time (I was wondering why he was complaining that it was SO expensive), and at the end said he would have worried about the guy not coming back for us, but everything worked out perfectly. Hope this helps.

i tip each driver half of the fare as it is one way.
drivers can change and it wouldn't be fair to them to not cover the tip for their driving.

the way i do it both drivers get the same amount.

The driver who took us to the orlando airport right after Hurricane Charlie was a nut job. Traffic was still crazy--people were rubbernecking at the destruction. This nut job was weaving in and out of traffic as if he was at a race track. I was in back with my kids and was praying and white knuckled the entire time.

Was never so glad to stop in my ENTIRE life. :scared1: Yes, I did stop and kiss the ground.:worship:

DH still tipped him $5 --that was $5 too much.

DH was going to give him $10, but thought he was a "little" reckless!
