We always take quite a few cabs when we are at the World and I was wondering if you tip the person who calls the cab for you. They usually are sitting in a small booth to the front of the resorts. I never have but somebody at work suggested that I should be tipping them for the small service. I have always tipped mousekeeping and all the cab drivers so now I am wondering if I left someone out. Also, with the new ME do I tip the drivers on the bus or is that a position that CANNOT accept tips. I work as a waitress so I seem to overtip everybody for everything and I would hate to be shortchanging somebody if part of their livelyhood comes from tips.:sad2:

Thanks!!

We always tip them for getting us a cab. It may not be necessary but I like to do it. Its just my way to say thank you.

I've been wondering about tipping mousekeeping. How much do all of you tip? Thanks! :flower3:

$1 per person in the room per day is the norm. For example, if there is a family of 5 staying in a resort room, you would tip $5 per day. Tipping each day guarantees that the person cleaning the room each day gets the tip. Don't wait until the last day to leave the tip for the entire stay as that person could be new and you thus have shortchanged the person who actually cleaned your room for you throughout your stay.

Mmmm...yes, but tipping will NOT guarantee that the person cleaning the room will necessarily do a better job... Not that I wouldn't leave a tip, I always do, but a lot of times I wonder why...

We leave $5/ day since there are 5 of us. I make envelopes ahead of time with the date and "THANK YOU MOUSEKEEPING!!!" on the front.:yay: I know they get paid and technically we don't have to tip them, but I think anyone who is willing to take the time to make towel animals and make our stay a little more fun, well they deserve a tip!
