Tipping question

Ok just got to thinking.. Made ADR's for 6 people. I read that an 18% gratuity is added for parties of 6 or more. I know at CRT gratuity is included on ddp but my question is for our other TS meals....we are actually 2 families both with ddp so we'll be paying with 2 ddp cards, do they split the 18% between the 2 cards or how would they do that??? There are 3 adults that are splitting the tip 3 ways so I guess we just get the total tip amount and split it among us. I guess I just answered my own question, lol.

If you have a reservation for 6, you will get charged the automatic gratuity. It does not matter how/who is paying. All tipping discussions need to be confined to the tipping sticky - I'm sure the mod will move this.

You need to watch the tip...the last trip we had with 3 people paying on 3 dining plans....several times we were all charged the same tip....the total for the entire bill not just our portion of the bill....when this was pointed out it was fixed but if we had not noticed, that server would have had a very good night.
