Tipping question -- I am sorry just this one

Do you tip the housekeeper the morning you are leaving the World.

I leave money every morning just in case the housekeeper changes each day.

Tip every day or find out when your maid is working so the person that cleaned the room gets the tip.

I tip each day, that way I know that the person that cleaned the room will get the tip. Besides if I waited until the last day, I probably forget.

I do it every day. $1 per person. I don't leave a mess all that has to be done is the bed made and a few times I have told them dont even bother, I won't be there all day then when I get there I unmake it and go to bed. LOL

We leave 2 to 3 dollars a day. Havent been disapointed yet with housekeeping, they always do a good job.

According to AAA Guidelines, you should tip $1 to $2 per person, per day.

Since housekeeping staff changes each day, you should leave the tip each morning for the individual who cleans your room.

We leave 2-3 dollars a day. On our last day we asked for a late checkout but they would not give it to us because of arriving guests.

When housekeeping knocked on our door, I told her the problem and she said, "stay in the room as long as you want, I will clean it last on this floor". The daily tipping pays off!

I think when they say $1 or $2 per person they mean per person staying in the room. For instance, if I go with my DH and DD I should tip $3 -$6 since there are 3 of us.

It's not based on how many housekeepers clean your room. It's based on how many guests are in the room.

If it's just me, I usually leave $2./day. If it's my DH, DS and myself, I leave $5./day.
