Tipping on Dining Plan

Is it tacky to use a Disney Visa Rewards Card to tip when you are on the dining plan? We have quite a bit saved up in reward dollars and I was thinking that we wouldn't need any additional spending money during our free dining trip if I could use my reward dollars for tipping. Or is that even possible? I can maneuver some other things if needed - that would just be easiest. But even if it's possible if it's tacky I won't.

Why would it be tacky? It's just like putting it on a credit card. I would definitely do it. Sounds like a good plan to me-maybe I'll do the same. Thanks for the idea!

I don't think its tacky - just like putting a gift card towards it! This is what we have been planning to do all along!

FYI: There is a special for the next 3 months - 5x points on groceries, gas, restaurants, and something else (Sorry!) when you spend $500! Note: if you already have the card you need to sign up for this special, my husband did it for us so I'm not sure how but I would look into it!

You have to receive the offer to be eligible for it and the offer varies. Mine was for purchases i excess of $100, not 500

The other category for us was airline tickets - just happened to have to book right when the offer came in
