Tipping Mousekeepers

I am prepared to tip the first housekeeper who doesn't hover at the door, or walk into our occupied unit, starting at 0830 on check-out day. Unfortunately, it hasn't happened yet... (pet peeve - can you tell?)

That's why I always put the Do Not Disturb sign out. Of course I usually have to go to the front desk to request one as there is rarely one in my villa when I check in. One time at SSR they had a hard time finding exactly what it was called on their computerized list. Of course the Do Not Disturb sign does nothing to stop the annoying Hang Up phone calls from them checking to see if anyone is really in the room.
