Tipping @ Golf Course

What is the standard that should be followed in regard to tipping at the Disney Golf Courses? Do you tip the person the person taking the clubs out of your car? How much? Who else do you normall tip?

I'd like to hear the answer to this. DH tips only if it's a young person, he thinks of himself-hey, if he were able to retire and work at the golf courses at WDW, tips wouldn't be needed, he'd just be so happy to be there; on the other hand, we've got 2 DS's in their 20's, just starting out, and they need every bit of money they can get! One thing he's commented on is that at WDW, the workers at the golf courses don't ever seem to make you feel they expect tips; he's been to other resort courses where the workers seem to have their hands out for tips all the time.

1) I have belonged to country clubs for over 30 years.
2) I also frequently golf at resorts, at other clubs, and at WDW
3) The general rule of thumb seems to be
. . . $1 per bag to unload the bag from car and stage
. . . $1 per bag to load onto cart
. . . $2 per bag to unload after golf, ONLY if clubs are wiped clean
. . . $1 per bag to load into car or taxi


NOTE: At any time you load/unload your own clubs from the car yourself, there obviously is no tip. Unloading from the cart after the golf round does not deserve a tip if the clubs are also not cleaned with a wet towel.

I agree with the prevoius amounts.

I only tip if I feel the person provide a service that what not an expection of they job or if the task they did required a significant effort.
